 Why did I waste my money :( OH well, maybe the game will improve, I guess I had high expectations. I'll still play the game, maybe I didn't spend enough time with it. I'm sure once others buy it and I iplay with them I'll enjoy it more. But CD was right, I should have held off until an open Beta came around. I honestly would rather play BF2.

But again, I did not play it that long. So hopefully someone else gets the beta and I can play with them.

As of right now, Arma2 plays Battlefield out of the water. My reasons:

-I can login and play by myself if I want and still have fun.
-REALISM, you just can't beat Arma2 with ACE installed.
-Expandibility, EVERY day someone comes out with new missions, islands, mods, jets, tanks, etc. Just check out http://www.armaholic.com
-Flying, with Arma, the flying is realistic, ILS approaches, landing gear, flaps, you can eject and land and still carry out your mission or call in a rescue.

Enough of my rant.

It just seems like it was BF2 all over again. Like Santos said, I wasn't impressed. I was expecting something else. It just seemed like the same, usual just running around and getting shot from no where B.S.

I honestly like playing BF2 better then the new game. I will just tell anyone to get the demo from fileplanet before buying the game. It is a good game, but right now it's not a game for me. I'm having too much fun with Arma2 and it's more my style. I would rather playing BF2 with you guys then this game.

I just think it's a matter of personal preference.

What I did not like:
The running seemed very slow, it takes you for ever to find cover. The maps are just too small, maybe it is my shitty computer system, but it was hard for me to find guys to engage. Almost like SOCOM on the PS3. CODMW2 is much easier to find someone to kill.

You also can't strafe while running, which you can do in COD games and if I remember you can do in BF2. BF2 just seemed easier on the eyes, not so much going on at one time. I will play this game with you guys once more members get it, but I want to save my money so I'm returning the game to steam for now and I'll just play the beta through file planet with who ever gets it for now until I can form a better opinion.

I'm not just jumping on the Arma2 band wagon, but I really think ARma2 is better when it comes to realism and enjoyability.

BTW.....I will get the game once everyone else starts playing it. Just for the fact that I would like to play with everyone again. But I haven't heard from anyone else...I don't even think anyone checks the forums anymore :(

Oh well

Yea Randy, I heard the same thing. It won't be out for another year.....but I keep hearing rumors that APB is going to have a really cheap method to play or free option similar to DDO and Crimecraft.
