Evil Empire

Myself, my brother and another friend of mine have been playing COD MW2 on the PS3. My brother actually play almost everyday and is now pulling a 30-2 ratio and is usually the top leader of each map, not bad for an old school EE boy.

I honestly really love playing FPS games on the console, the reason being is the lack of hackers unlike in the PC world. There is no reason that I can go 15-2 on PS3 and jump into the PC world and score 11-5. Just doesn't make sense to me and it is not fun knowing that punk assholes are out there wrecking the online gaming community for the PC world. Granted we don't have vent but they are getting a party chat system together similar to Xbox's and almost like vent. Once that comes out PS3 will be really kicking it in gear.

I also like the fact that everyone is on the same playing level, I don't have to worry about some kid with mommy's money having a better graphics card then me and sniping me a mile away. I also like the fact that I can jump right in game and play. The biggest plus for me, I can sit and play and still take care of my kids in between maps. hell the other day I was walking around my house with my blue tooth headset, talking to a bunch of guys I've been playing with, while doing dishes and laundry in my basement!

lol doing dishes and laundry in the basement...i bet that's where she likes to keep you hidden away...probably has padded walls and a picture of a tree for the moments when you're lonely

Now have five guys we all play together and Tony is going to get it for the PS3. I'm telling you, get the game DP. I love that game on console. I play everyday for at least 30 minutes because of homework and kids. But on days where i have nothing going on I'm playing for quite a few hours as long as I can. Eric, a friend of mine that was on EE about five years ago is getting a PS3 for his engagement :) But he will also be joining us soon.

so did you get MAG, shaun? i did. it's freakin hard...or maybe i just suck...if you got it, which faction are you guys on?

No, I haven't got it yet. I'm not sure if my buddies are going to or not. I was playing the beta with a group of guys that actually made the game fun. But I agree it's hard, I can hop into CODmw2 and actually have fun. To me MAG graphics are hard to play with. It's so dark, you can't see who is sniping you half the time.

But I will admit the game was a blast when I was playing with a group that knew what they were doing and how to rush the bomb site. The game made me feel like I was playing CS again back in the day. I just can't afford this game right now, not with two games coming out real soon that I'll probably get. One Battlefield Bad Company and the other being that APB game.

I'm having a lot of fun with Arma2 right now, so I'm not sure what I'll be doing. It seems like every week Arma2 has new content that is coming out and getting better. I can get into firefights and actually get into battles with AI now without getting killed right away.

Add one to the MAG clan, played it this weekend at a friends house and am gonna buy it this week.

Nice, I might have to buy this one after all. I'm telling you guys, if you like this game on console. You'll love Arma2 with the latest patches.
